Internal controls analysis and setup

If you are running a business and employ staff, you will find that unless you have adequate internal controls, you could be losing part of your business to theft and embezzlement.  it is amazing how people can hide what they are doing until it is too late.

There was the recentt example of the Accountant and Clive Peeters. Millions of dollars were misappropriated and the organisation found out too late and ended up going out of buisness and being purchased in a fire sale by the Harvey Norman Group. The only happy person was Gerry Harvey as he made a once in a lifetime purchase for virtually nothing.

Internal controls can be graduated through your accounting system.  In double entry bookeeping you can defer but not eliminate. 

We can undertake an anlysis of your systme and then advice you of what you need to do to prevent problems happening in the future.

We can then setup or modify your system so that there is a multi layered security protocol in place that some staff know about, but some that only you as the owner would know about.  They would be invisible to the normal accounting processes, but they will expose any unlawful transactions etc.
